Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples has been an American actress and performer for more than a decade. She was awarded the best actress award for her performance in Nashville The 2012 drama in which she played Layla Grant. She also was awarded the prize in Sharknado 2013 in which she was Claudia Shepard. In 2015, she was in her role as Jerrica Jem in the movie Jem and the Holograms. Aubrey Peeples, the child of Wendy Peeples and Ashley Peeples, grew up on Lake Mary Florida. She also has a younger sister, Ally. Aubrey performed in The Orlando Repertory Theatre in her teens for a period of 10 years. The valedictory speech she delivered was that for her class in Lake Mary Preparatory School. Harvard University was willing to accept her. However, she turned down the opportunity twice. The second time it was because she wanted to be a part of Nashville. Peeples was a guest on Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011) Grey's Anatomy (2005) and had an recurring role on Necessary Roughness (1991). Peeples was a TV star on Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective 2009 and The Good Mother. She played Layla Grant, a major character from the Nashville second season of the drama. Peeples spoke about her bipolar disorder in an interview for NKD Magazine. Indiewire listed Peeples one of the most talented actors below the age of 20 in September 2014.
